SEO Made Simple (Second Edition): Strategies For Dominating The World’s Largest Search Engine
Using effective business systems are everywhere and that we often spending time to improve it. systems. For example, once I think of doing keyword research nowadays, I thought of it as spending never ending hours each day in front of the computer. Now it has become easy for me. I will view it and I’m seeing it totally differently from what somebody who is simply starting in business would. You must learn the strategic business systems that you are using in running your business, thoroughly understand each detail to implement these successfully.
I got really obsessed about using effective systems in running my businesses. There was the complete trading systems, that’s the way I first started. Then it moved into Planet 13 and an outlet that people finished up franchising and that we documented it. It includes a system based on how to perform a rock ‘n roll clothing music store today. From walking in and flipping on the lights, approaching the customer, upselling them related products, to merely absolutely everything. That’s a method that I have in that particular business.
Then we’ve also got the system that I used called The SEO Method, we started using this to systematize the procedure that people use for ranking their business websites using effective and complete business systems too.
Now systems are everywhere. Your entire business is a system and a set of sub systems. So you’ve got the overall system which is business, but then underneath that there are different sub systems as well. You’ve got a system for marketing, you’ve got a system for fulfillment and you’ve got a system for operations as well.
In terms of marketing, how will you get out there and find new businesses using SEO services? How will you grow the clients that you already have? In terms of fulfillment, how do you deliver the products that you have in stock? How can you improve that process to your future clients? Each one of these different areas come very different systems that you can try to improve your business operations.
What happened to Blockbuster and Netflix are good examples of these cases. Blockbuster just lately went bankrupt. I believe the reason for this was not updating their system as they continue their daily operations. They had strategic business systems that is flawed that contributed to their downfall.
They had stores where you can buy DVDs or hire DVDs, so you would need to visit the store, choose the DVD you would like, take it home, watch it when you are finished, give it back. Then another person emerged using a different system that beat their system. Why do that after you are able to hop online, download the recording you need and not be worried about returning it after? I believe that’s a far more effective system and it’s just evolved over time using new technologies. So it’s important that you do this as you grow your business, that is to develop a culture within your small business internet marketing projects to keep on top of your competition.
In essence, I strongly believe that my strategic business systems will work best if we keep on hiring the best online assistants and not spending dollars to compensate those who are just not performing in terms of our standards. This will definitely help your business grow and be competitive, if you only keep on improving your processes today.
