Outsmarting Google: SEO Secrets to Winning New Business (Que Biz-Tech)
Posterous is a content distribution network that I use to have open communication and be up to date. It is a fantastic service that enables users to send an email with attachments of any kind of multimedia. I use my iPhone to take a photo of something or record an audio in my car. Sometimes I take a short video.
Since I am using a 3G network, I can email small files using Posterous. As I send it to post@posterous.com. It will get automatically get pushed to directly to my Posterous account. I simply write the subject of the email which automatically becomes the subject of the post. The post also gets automatically uploaded.
So it is a way for me to easily create content. It is important to make sure you’re continually putting out content not only in your SEO blog. That’s what market leaders do, they generate this new content. So for you to generate that new content, you should know how to use social media sites and make it as easy as possible. That’s why I use my mobile phone, I’ll record different things and then I’ll post them up using my Posterous account, using my iPhone.
I thought of answering a whole lot of SEO services questions on my Posterous account. I was inside my car near Chapel Street. I was listening to an audio and I came across a good question that people would have. It went like this: should you build links from only on topic and relevant websites? So I recorded this in my car: whether or not it’s important when building links to have those links coming from relevant, on topic websites? It was just a two or three minute audio that I have just created. I send it to this Posterous account which provides an easy way to have it sent through email. This is just a nice and quick way to distribute fresh content.
Before these audios will be pushed in a content distribution network, it would first be processed. They will be handed to an assistant. This particular assistant is in-charge of doing PowerPoint presentations of all the audios that I have created. Each presentation will match an audio interview that I have previously done. This is the way we are able to create a video out of an audio. Afterwards, we cut the video that we come up with. We will then post those short videos on YouTube.
I try to take note all these questions coming up in the niche that I have chosen. I record them and look for answers and then we start creating videos to accompany them. These videos are just actually like slide shows that will produce fresh content and later on get distributed out to several types of content distribution network. These are just means for you to multiply whatever it is that you are presently known for or the activities that you have at the moment. Let us say, for my SEO company, I find means to push that content out and make it as swift as possible. So that is how I use Posterous. Posterous also pushes to Twitter. So I’ve got Posterous to automatically post. All I have to do is use my iPhone to send emails and everything will be forwarded and posted on Posterous.
